Humanity's Next Big Challenge: Climate Change

The tsunami destroying New York City in the movie "The Day After Tomorrow" is typical Hollywood, but the social havoc wrought by rapid climate change seems believable. Here is a Pentagon report that maps out an extreme but not implausible scenario of what might happen as a result of rapid climate change. Maybe we in Thailand should start thinking about it, too, given the unusual weather we've been having.
